Working Towards a Brighter Future

ABOUT US

Behind the Scenes

Human trafficking arises in multiple scenarios and peoples' awareness of the problem is very minimal. And the people that are aware of the complexity of the situation aren't provided with tools and programs to take action against it. Empathy only goes so far. Although the origins of trafficking are various, they all stem from self-neglect and a feeling of being unloved and without a purpose. Our community outreach events will be centered around groups of people affected by abuse (Foster care, homeless shelters, domestic violence centers, etc) and plan events that not only educate them on the danger and prevalence of the issue, but also provide them with activities for them to interact and be a part of a loving community that shows they are loved and cared for. Every little step in the right direction brings about change and I believe that this club could do some influential things that could change these statistics for the better.
